I have always been deeply curious about the world around me – how do things work and fit within the context of larger systems. This extends to persons and cultures as well – what drives people to act and what approaches do they take. I am fortunate enough to have pondered these questions in many contexts having lived in San Francisco, Copenhagen, London, Beijing, Bangkok, Singapore, and Berlin. These global experiences help me to connect the dots in an increasingly complex world – to see the bigger picture and the signs of change.
I am optimistic that our world is trending for the better, but impatient for it to get there. Collaborating with partners big and small, I use strategic thinking and design practice, to turn vision into meaningful impact – futures into today’s realities.
I am currently the design principal and cofounder at Imua Studio. We are a fully remote, digital product development agency that helps entrepreneurs and companies go from idea to launch.
Previously I cofounded the startup Augmented Thinking in the belief that anyone can be an innovator with the help of collective intelligence. In the past I worked in Architecture, designing and managing the construction of schools, medical clinics, and commercial office spaces.
I have an M.A. and M.SC. in Global Innovation Design from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, respectively. I have a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
I love traveling, science fiction, running with my dog Remi, and listening to NPR.
I strive to create impactful products and services people love. The experiences I design are delightfully intuitive and effective. I use strategic thinking and human-centered design to:
